About Me

Professional make-up artist, Fiona Breslin, has spent a lifetime perfecting her art with practice in fine art, fashion and craft. Based in London, she absorbs her inspiration from everything around her and expresses her love of history, grandeur and inner beauty, bringing out the best of her clients features. Her passion and hard work has led her to be able to work with and partner up with some of the world’s leading companies and beauty brands including Pinewood Studios, Universal Studios, The Old Vic Theatre, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, Rituals Cosmetics, Laura Mercier and Cover FX.

Fiona is a fully qualified professional makeup artist with ten years’ experience on the London scene. She loves using texture and colour to create special artistic resonance through her makeup work. She has been working in the theatre world for many years, on projects such as the critically acclaimed “Epidemic” in 2012 and “Asylum” in 2017, as well as many other productions, such as “Virtually Dead” and “Full House of Horror”. She has a keen interest and knowledge of historical costume and has worked in the wardrobe department as well as makeup and uses this to a skilled advantage and to create historical accuracy.

Fiona discovered her passion for makeup after attending stage school for many years which led to her working behind the scenes in costume and wardrobe in community theatre companies. There she found she could express an extension of her own character through costume and clothing creation.

From there she went on to study fine art, fashion and photography then decided to seek out professional qualifications. She successfully completed City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Media Make-up and Hair with Distinction grade. She then went to university the following year and expanded her SFX make-up skills and business experience.

Besides working for private clients and charities, Fiona’s passion has allowed her to work as head makeup artist for a variety of theatre and film productions (including the critically acclaimed “Epidemic” in 2012 and “Asylum” in 2017), but also private clients and charities.

Beyond her professional work, Fiona is also highly involved in social issues and charity events. She teamed up with Look Good Feel Better and Age UK, providing workshops for women with and recovered from cancer, and promoting a positive attitude to ageing. Also, in 2017 she was featured in a fundraising campaign at Amazon Fashion HQ with Look Good Feel Better, and aims to continue her work of outreach and education.
